Join the MCTS Membership and Elevate Your Practice
Becoming a member of MCTS connects you with a dynamic community of trauma professionals dedicated to growth, healing, and excellence. Our membership offers invaluable resources, peer support, and professional development to help you expand your skills and deepen your impact.
The MCTS membership program is open to licensed therapists, counselors, and mental health professionals who are committed to trauma-informed care. Whether you are newly licensed or an experienced clinician, our program will help you stay connected, informed, and inspired.
Our programs are developed for licensed mental health professionals (therapists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, etc.) who are committed to providing trauma-informed care. We offer training for all levels of experience, from those new to trauma work to advanced clinicians seeking to deepen their skills.
What makes MCTS different from other continuing education programs?
MCTS is not a general CE provider. Our entire curriculum is built around trauma, from foundational principles to advanced clinical techniques. Our trainings are led by field experts and grounded in the latest research, ensuring that everything you learn is clinically relevant and directly applicable to your practice.
What types of training do you offer?
We offer foundational trainings (including EMDR Basic Training), advanced clinical workshops and topic-specific webinars. Topics range from somatic resourcing and birth trauma recovery to intergenerational trauma and attachment-focused EMDR.
Is your EMDR training EMDRIA-approved?
Our foundational EMDR Basic Training is pending approval by EMDRIA.
Can I join your membership program even if I’m not taking a training right now?
Absolutely. The MCTS membership is open to all licensed therapists and mental health professionals who want to stay connected, strengthen their expertise, and access ongoing professional support, even outside of our course offerings.
What does the membership include?
Membership gives you access to a private online community, live study groups, peer supervision opportunities, our public-facing therapist directory, a robust clinical resource library, and exclusive discounts on all of our trainings. You’ll also receive support around marketing and practice-building as a trauma therapist.
How do I update my listing in the therapist directory?
If you’re a member, you can access and update your directory profile through our community portal. Simply log in to the membership platform to make edits and ensure your information stays current.
Are your trainings culturally responsive?
Yes. We are deeply committed to inclusive and culturally responsive trauma education. Our programs are designed to equip therapists to serve clients across diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and clinical integrity.
Do you offer group rates or institutional partnerships?
We welcome collaboration with universities, clinical institutions, and organizations invested in trauma-informed care. Please contact us directly to learn more about group rates and partnership opportunities.
How do I get in touch with your team if I have questions?
At the Manhattan Center for Trauma Studies, we offer a wide range of trauma-focused courses and workshops for therapists at every stage of their career. Whether you’re new to trauma therapy or looking to enhance your existing skills, we provide the tools, knowledge, and community to support your growth.
